Individual Counselling in Cardiff
A steady, non-judgmental space to work through anxiety, low mood, or whatever's weighing on you.
Support for Whatever You're Facing
You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to benefit from counselling. Many people come simply because something feels off, they're stuck, or they want space to think that they don't get anywhere else. I've worked with clients aged 17 to 70, from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, on concerns including anxiety, loneliness, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship breakdown.
Sessions are person-centred, which means there's no fixed script or programme — the direction comes from what you bring each week, and the pace is entirely yours.
Experience
Alongside private practice, I provide general counselling through CCAWS's free service, working with clients presenting a wide range of mild-to-moderate mental health concerns, and completing counselling assessments to understand what support each person needs. This everyday, varied experience means I'm comfortable working with whatever you bring, without you needing to fit a particular category.

Frequently Asked Questions
What issues can individual counselling help with?
A wide range of concerns — anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply wanting space to understand yourself better. You don't need a diagnosis to book.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. Some find a handful of sessions helpful, others benefit from ongoing longer-term support. There's no fixed programme — it's led by what you need.
Is counselling confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is maintained in line with the BACP Ethical Framework and UK GDPR, with only a small number of extreme safeguarding or legal exceptions, explained clearly before your first session.
