Grief & Bereavement Counselling in Cardiff
A compassionate, person-centred space to grieve in your own way, at your own pace.
Support Through Loss
Grief doesn't follow a straight line, and there's no "right" way to experience it. Whether you've lost a partner, parent, child, friend, or someone else important to you, grief counselling offers a space to process what you're feeling — without pressure to move on before you're ready, and without judgment for however you're getting through it.
Some people want to talk about the person they've lost. Others need help with the practical weight grief brings — sleep, work, relationships, or simply getting through the day. Sessions follow what you need, not a fixed structure.
Specialist Experience
I bring direct experience supporting people through bereavement, having worked as a Grief Support Project Worker completing individual assessments and providing emotional support to clients navigating loss. I've also worked within a dedicated bereavement project supporting minority ethnic communities, so cultural and faith context around death and mourning is something I hold real sensitivity to.
Alongside this, I'm a BACP-registered, person-centred counsellor, which means the direction of our work together comes from you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How soon after a loss should I seek grief counselling?
There's no fixed timeline. Some people seek support within days of a loss, others years later when grief resurfaces. Whenever you feel ready to talk is the right time.
Is grief counselling only for recent bereavement?
No. Grief can resurface around anniversaries, life changes, or losses that happened a long time ago. Support is available whenever you need it, not just in the immediate aftermath.
Do you offer online grief counselling in Cardiff?
Yes, sessions are available online as well as in person, so support is accessible wherever you are in or around Cardiff.
